Summer, 2008--

Silchester, England. I continue the roller coaster life of a freelance writer. I landed an assignment to write a story for U.S.-based DIG magazine, an archeology magazine for kids. However, I'm still trying to find a "home" for my story on the E.U. Pet Scheme, covering the ins and outs of taking pets overseas.

Gracie seems to be thriving as the "top" dog in our household. We continue our morning walks in the neighborhood forest, and she's finally learning the fine art of running to me when I call her name.

I love the long days of summer.
